Suhnyoung Yoon, an active flutist, chamber musician, and instructor from Korea. She has performed in recitals and masterclasses alongside renowned musicians such as Carol Wincenc, Michel Debost, Ransom Wilson, and Julius Baker. Suhnyoung holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Oberlin Conservatory and College, as well as a Master of Music degree from Yale School of Music.
Suhnyoung has garnered recognition through various competitions, including the NY Flute Club and the National Flute Association. She has had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Lincoln Center. Additionally, she has showcased her skills as a soloist with orchestras like the Korean Symphony, Schenectady Symphony, and Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.
Currently, Suhnyoung teaches flute at Crean Lutheran High School and Youth Orchestras while actively participating as a chamber musician and orchestral player in Orange County. Her passion for music and dedication to her craft shine through her performances and inspire aspiring musicians.
