Zeleny Trio
Chloe Cho is a Junior in Woodbridge High School who wants to major in cello performance in college. Her teacher is Joon Sung Jun who teaches in California State Long Beach and is a member of Trio Fugu. Chloe has participated in Junior Chamber Music and Montecito International Music Festival since year 2008. She received award from IKPA competition, LAVS and had master class with renowned cellist including Janos Starker, Lynn Harrell, and Robert deMaine. Her JCM Chamber Group had master class with Felici Trio, Andrea Weber, and Sergey Roldugin and her group performed in Austria and Russia during JCM Honors Group Tour. She enjoys drawing, painting, crafting, listening to music, and watching cooking channel.
Julia Choi, a high school senior, is the principal clarinet of the orchestra and wind ensemble at the Orange County School of the Arts. She has participated in the American High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, the Verbier Festival Music Camp, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and the California All-Southern and All-State Honor Bands over the past four years. Since 2012, she has won first place in the Musical Arts Club of Orange County Competition, and in 2014, she placed in the American Protégé International Concerto Competition, the International Clarinet Association High School Competition, and the Parness Concerto Competition with the Culver City Symphony Orchestra. Julia traveled with JCM on the summer 2014 tour to Finland, Estonia, and Russia. This is her third year in JCM. Her instructors include Adrienne Geffen, Ben Lulich, Emil Khudyev, Michael Yoshimi, and Yehuda Gilad.
A junior at Beckman High School, Tammy Wu has distinguished herself in the Los Angeles International Bicentennial Competition, California International Young Artists Competition, International Liszt Competition, International Russian Music Piano Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, MTAC solo and VOCE competitions and Southwestern Youth Music Festival. She hopes to double major in piano performance and finance in college.
