Chamber Music Competitions
JCM offers an annual chamber music competition to its ensembles each year in March. Due to the vast number of ensembles participating in JCM, this competition has grown to be one of the largest chamber music competitions in the West Coast.
Open only to groups enrolled in JCM, all groups receive valuable feedback from renowned judges. Competition winners are invited to perform in a Winners Concert different concert series each season.
Concerto Competitions
JCM offers an annual concerto competition each year in February. Since JCM has such advanced young musicians, this competition brings together some the best talent in Southern California. Winners perform with the Orchestra Collective of Orange County (OC of OC). Students also receive valuable feedback from judges. The competition will be livestreamed and is open to be watched by the public.
