Trio Solfege

Anna Isabel Audenis, 17, started playing the piano at the age of five and has since charmed audiences and judges alike with her thoughtful and musical interpretations. Most recently, Anna won 1st prize at the Junior Chamber Music concerto competition, 1st prize at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and additionally, was one of the seven winners at the PianoTexas 2022 concerto competition. Throughout her music career, Anna also won 2nd place at the Los Angeles International Piano Competition and placed 1st at the Kathryn Gawartin Chopin Competition. Furthermore, Anna is a 1st place winner of the Great Composer’s International Piano Competition, a 2nd place winner of Music Teachers National Association of California, and over the course of several years has earned numerous top prizes at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. Anna also placed 2nd at the San Jose International Piano Competition and at the Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition. Since 2014, Anna has been an active honor member of Junior Chamber Music and for the past 4 years has held the title as a JCM debut artist.

In 2015, Anna made her debut orchestra appearance with Orchestra Napolitana and has since performed with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Southwestern Youth Music Festival Orchestra, and Orchestra Collective of Orange County. Furthermore, at the age of nine, Anna was invited to play and speak at TEDx Ostrava.

Anna studied with Eduardo Delgado before transferring to Rufus Choi at age twelve, with whom she currently studies with. Anna has also been fortunate enough to have participated in masterclasses with Oxana Yablonskaya, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Eteri Andjaparidze, Sasha Starcevich, John Perry, and Alexander Korsantia, just to name a few. In addition to studying music herself, Anna has been teaching piano to children since 2020.

Anna speaks French and Czech fluently and in her free time enjoys studying meteorology. Because of her love and interest in clouds, Anna is a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society.

Rubi Lee, 15, is a 10th grader at Orange County School of the Arts. She started her violin when she was 8. Since then, she has been a very active musician. Rubi is currently the member of Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra & Quartet, and she’s been volunteering at Christian Youth String Ensemble. Rubi has received many prizes in numerous competitions. Awards include: So Cal Philharmonic Concerto Competition, Young Artists Winner (2022); CalASTA, State Winner (2022); OCSA Concerto Competition, Winner (2022); Concerto Competition of California Association of Professional Music Teachers, First Place (2022); American Protégé International Concerto Competition, First Place (2021). She has appeared on NPR’s radio program “From the Top” show 413 (2021-2022), and she will be the member of National Youth Orchestra - USA this summer 2023. Besides Music, she loves to eat yummy food and enjoys running.

Jiin Yun (16 years old) is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts. She started cello when she was 6 years old, and currently studies with Professor Joon Sung Jun. Jiin Yun won numerous awards including grand prize at Enkor International Music Competition, first prize at the Bellagrande International Music Competition, International Music Competition Salzburg “Grand Prize Virtuoso”, Golden State International Competition, second place in the American Classical Young Musician Award and in Los Angeles Violoncello Society (LAVS). She has performed the Vivaldi Cello Duet as a soloist with the Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings orchestra at Segerstrom Hall. Furthermore, Jiin Yun had the wonderful opportunity of receiving a masterclass from world-class cellist, Ron Leonard. Aside from her solo career, she is active in chamber music and orchestra. She has been the honor member of Junior Chamber Music for 7 years, and was titled as the Debut Artist for the last two years. In 2022, she was the semi-finalist of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and was selected as the assistant principal of the National Youth Orchestra 2. This summer, she will tour the continent as a NYO-USA member with Gil Shaham and Hilary Hahn.
