Sempre Piano Trio

Anna Isabel Audenis (16, piano) started playing the piano at the tender age of five and has since charmed audiences and judges alike with her thoughtful and musical interpretations. Most recently, Anna won numerous top prizes at the Southern Youth Music Festival including 1st prize in the concerto division, which earned her an appearance with the Southern Youth Music Festival Orchestra. In 2019, Anna also won 2nd place at the Los Angeles International Piano Competition. Additionally, Anna was 1st place winner of the Kathryn Gawartin Chopin Competition, two-time 1st place winner of the Great Composer’s International Piano Competition and 2nd place winner of Music Teachers National Association of California. Anna also placed 2nd at the San Jose International Piano Competition and at the Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition. Since 2014, Anna has been an active honor member of Junior Chamber Music and in 2019 was selected as a JCM debut artist. In 2015, Anna made her first appearance with Orchestra Napolitana and the year prior was invited to play and speak at TEDx Ostrava 2014. At eight years old, Anna began piano lessons with Eduardo Delgado before transferring to Rufus Choi at age twelve, with whom she currently studies with. Anna has also been fortunate enough to have participated in masterclasses with Oxana Yablonskaya, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Eteri Andjaparidze, Sasha Starcevich, John Perry, and Alexander Korsantia, just to name a few. In addition to studying music herself, Anna has been teaching piano to children since 2020. Anna speaks French and Czech fluently and in her free time enjoys learning Russian and studying cloud-classifications.

Kailey Yun (15, violin) is currently studying with Margaret Batjer of Colburn School of Music and is in the tenth grade at Beckman High School. Some of her achievements include having the honor of playing as a soloist with the Bellflower Orchestra in 2019, the Southern California Philharmonic in 2020, and the Orchestra Collective of Orange County Orchestra in 2021. Kailey was also a state finalist for the ASTA (American String Teachers’ Association) competition as well as a grand prize winner in the Satori International Summer Music Festival and the Los Angeles International Music competition. She has won multiple first places in the SYMF and MACOC competitions. Kailey also placed first in the Great Composers Competition in the United Kingdom and the Bach Festival as well as the Golden State International Music Competition. She has been actively participating in Junior Chamber Music (JCM) for the past 6 years. She is part of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra (PSYO). Kailey was named a finalist of NPR's From the Top radio program that airs on KUSC, the classical music FM in Southern California. She will be performing on this program soon.

Jiin Yun (15, cello) is a sophomore at the Orange County School of the Arts. She started cello when she was 6 years old, and currently studies with Professor Joon Sung Jun. Jiin won numerous awards throughout her cello career, including first prize at the Bellagrande International Music Competition, International Music Competition Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso, Golden State International Competition, second place in the American Classical Young Musician Award and in Los Angeles Violoncello Society (LAVS). She has performed the Vivaldi Cello Duet as first cellist with the Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings orchestra at Segerstrom Hall. She will also perform Shostakovich Cello Concerto with the Southern California Philharmonic in June 2022. Furthermore, Jiin Yun had the wonderful opportunity of receiving a masterclass from world-class cellist, Ron Leonard. Aside from her solo career, she has been the Honors member of Junior Chamber Music for 7 years, and recently was titled as Debut Artist. She also uses her talent in music to give love to the community by volunteering in a variety of organizations such as Back to Bach, Smile Train, Love in Music, and Dragon Kim Foundation.
