Sarah Dudas
Dr. Sarah Dudas recently relocated to Southern California after performing and teaching within the greater Baltimore/Washington area. While maintaining her own private studio out of her home in Baltimore, she also held a substitute position as private instructor and chamber music coach at Peabody Preparatory of Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD).
In addition to teaching, Dr. Dudas performed regularly throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, substituting with ensembles such as the Annapolis Symphony, the Delaware Symphony and Opera, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She spent three years as a section violinist at the Oregon Bach Festival under the baton of Helmuth Rilling and is a former member of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera.
Dr. Dudas holds graduate degrees from New England Conservatory (MM) and the University of Southern California/Los Angeles (DMA). Her former teachers include Jan Sloman, James Buswell, Hagai Shaham, and Kathleen Winkler. She currently resides in Loma Linda, California, where she is newly appointed to the strings faculty at Loma Linda Academy.
