Quiddity Quartet: Jonathan Kim, cello; David Noble, viola; Alisa Luera, violin; and Jason Corbin, violin
Quiddity Quartet
Jonathan Kim (cello) is currently a high school senior and an avid cellist. He is the principal cellist at West Ranch High School and has studied with Andrew Cook and Dr. Joon Sung Jun. He is also a North Korean activist and aspires to pursue his passion for biochemistry.
David Noble (viola) is a junior attending West Ranch High School, and was born and raised in Los Angeles. He began his violin studies at the age of 8 and picked up a viola at the age of 13, although he never had a formal teacher for viola. This year will be his second year participating in JCM.
Alisa Luera (violin) is 17 and attends West Ranch High School as a Junior. She is currently the concertmaster of her school and LAYO (Los Angeles Youth Orchestra). She has studied with Yoko Honda, Idell Low, and Lorenz Gamma. Alisa has participated in musical tours throughout the years in NY, Vienna, and Prague.
Jason Corbin (violin) is a senior at Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita, California. He has been studying violin and piano since he was 7 years old. He was featured in NPR's From the Top and performed as a soloist with several local orchestras. This is his 8th year with JCM.
