Joon Sung Jun

A Cello Professor and Chairperson for Instrument at Shepherd University, Joon Sung Jun has varied career as a performer, seminar lecturer, and teacher. Mr. Jun teaches and plays at Kazakhstan International Music Festival, Ahn Dong Music Festival, and California state University of Los Angeles (from Fall 2006). He is frequently invited to appear as a soloist with Orchestra such as Kazakhstan Philharmonic, Korean National Philharmonic, Symphonieta philharmonic, and Ahn Dong Symphony of the Music Festival. His students have won 1st Prizes in Peninsula Young Artist, PSYO Concerto Competiotin, and South Coast Symphony National Concerto Competition. Mr. Jun has received his masters from USC and is a doctoral candidate at USC.

She has also premiered and composed works for chamber music, recording her CD "Edge" with the Classical Edge Trio.  Dr. Boettger's private  students have been prize winners in major competitions such as the Virginia Waring International Piano Competition, the Minnesota International e-Competition, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Spotlight Award, and the Young Arts Foundation. 

Dr. Boettger received her DMA in piano performance at USC, minoring in business and music education.  She received her MM from Juilliard and her BM (piano) and BA (mathematics) from Rice University.
