Gulia Gurevich
Gulia Gurevich is a violinist and a violist of the Prima Trio, a mixed ensemble, winner of Grand Prix and Gold Medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. As a soloist and a chamber musician Gulia has performed in Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Disney Concert Hall, Benaroya Hall, among others and worked with Boston, Indianapolis, Charleston, San Diego symphonies and Los Angeles Opera, to name a few.
Gulia Gurevich is a cofounder of the Nelli Shkolnikova Academy in France and is also an Artistic Director of the “Classical Concerts on the Hill” concert series in the Los Angeles area.
Ms. Gurevich was recently invited to be on a violin jury of the International Violin Competition in Braga, Portugal and was on the chamber music jury panel of the International Young Pianist Competition in Villahermosa, Mexico. Gulia taught masterclasses at the Oberlin Conservatory, San Francisco Conservatory and others. Gulia Gurevich is a graduate of Indiana University, where she studied with Nelli Shkolnikova and also holds a degree from the Oberlin Conservatory with prof. Milan Vitek. Currently, Gulia Gurevich is pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of California in Santa Barbara.
