Elise Goodman
The grandniece of jazz great, Benny Goodman, Ms. Elise Goodman, graduated from the Juilliard School where she studied with Robert Mann and Dorothy DeLay after earlier training with Robert Lipsett. At the age of ten, courtesy of YMF, she began to be frequently featured on national television in telethons, as a guest on network talk shows, and on the Disney Channel. Ms. Goodman's solo, recital and chamber music performances have taken her to venues including Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, the Mendelssohn-Salle of the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Juilliard School's Paul Hall, throughout Holland including the Concertgebouw, as well as the first recital at the opening of the T.O. Civic Arts Plaza. An avid chamber musician, Ms. Goodman has performed at festivals such as the Ravinia Festival's Institute for Young Artists, the Spoleto Festival due Dei Mondi, the Schleswig Holstein and Aspen Music Festivals, the New York String Seminar and as faculty at the Utah Music Festival.
