Audrey Park, 15, is currently a sophomore at West Ranch High School. She started her music life by playing the piano at the age of four. As her passion and interest in music grew, she aspired to become a violinist when she turned six. She has been a member of California All-State Orchestra and currently is the concertmaster of Los Angeles Youth Orchestra and West Ranch Chamber Orchestra. Last summer, with the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, Audrey had the honor of performing in Cremona, Montecatini and in Rome during the group’s Italy Summer Tour. Audrey enjoys performing as a soloist, competing in competitions, and participating in chamber groups and orchestras. She was the 2016 winner of Santa Clarita’s Concerto Competition and was featured as a soloist, performing with the Santa Clarita Philharmonic. Her other accomplishments in 2016 include being the LA Finalist of ASTA and placing second in Classics Alive. In 2017, Audrey had the honor of performing in Carnegie Hall with the Honors Performance Series, working with conductor and composer, Kirt Mosier. In addition she was the first place winner of the Great Composers International Music Competition. She has also won the 2017 San Fernando Valley Concerto Competition, performing with the San Fernando Symphony Orchestra. Other competition results include placing second at VOCE State Finals and the Antelope Valley Concerto Competition. Last summer, Audrey has attended the 2017 Montecito International Music Festival with scholarship and was invited to participate in Glen Dicterow’s master class. She also enjoys horseback riding and snowboarding when she finds time for it. Audrey studies with Ms. Linda Rose.
Winfred Wang is a senior at Gabrielino HS in San Gabriel, CA. He has been practicing piano for more than 10 years, taking weekly private lessons, performing in community and benefit concerts, participating in local chamber music programs during school year and international chamber music festivals during summer. He was also invited to Prague, Bratislava and St. Petersburg to study solo piano performance under international renowned professors and pianists. He volunteers as a music teacher and accompanist for elementary and middle schoolers. Winfred has also placed in many international solo and concerto competitions.
Amber Park is a seventeen year old junior from West Ranch High School. She started playing the cello at the age of eight and currently studies with Beth Park-Zhao. Amber is the principal cellist at her school and the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra. Last year, she went on the Italy Summer Tour with the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra. She has participated in the California All-State for five years and has also performed as principal cellist of the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. She has won several awards at competitions such as SYMF and the Los Angeles Violincello Society Competition. This is her third year as a participant in the JCM program. Amber also enjoys performing for the elderly through her music club, Musicteers. She is also involved in several extracurricular activities such as speech and debate, horseback riding, and community service.
