Creating Ensembles

The Junior Chamber Music program auditions students and matches them into small groups of 2-5 people according to age, level, and location.

Requests

Students are encouraged to recruit members of their potential ensemble and to spend some time considering which repertoire they want to study. We do our best to honor requests for players, repertoire, and coaches.

We encourage students to try different ensembles to experience working with strings, woodwind/brass, voice, piano. Also, we encourage students to try different sizes of ensembles – from duos to quintets.

Name Your Trio
JCM encourages groups to give themselves a name and to get a good group photo for the Memory book. Have fun with your group – enjoy the JCM Video Challenges and try to do social outings outside of rehearsals.
