David Young

David Young holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music, and a Master’s degree and Doctorate from the University of Southern California. He is a former member of the Rochester Philharmonic, the Dallas Symphony, and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Currently he is Principal Bass for the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, as well as the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra. David performs on an Italian instrument made in 1704, by Florenus Guidantus.
